Accessibility

The accessibility aims, current status, known limitations and reporting route for the Nanny-Delvin Rivers Trust website.

Our accessibility aim

The Trust aims to make this website usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, browser zoom and small-screen devices.

Development is guided by semantic HTML, clear headings, descriptive links, readable contrast, responsive layouts and meaningful alternative text.

Current status

This is a live website under active development and has not yet undergone a formal independent accessibility audit.

The current development target is alignment with the relevant principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is an aim, not a claim of complete conformance.

Measures already in place

  • Responsive layouts for desktop and mobile screens
  • Semantic headings and page landmarks
  • Keyboard-accessible links and standard form controls
  • Labels associated with form fields where present
  • Alternative text for substantive images
  • No automatic audio, animation or time-limited interaction

Known limitations

  • The site has not yet been tested across a full range of assistive technologies.
  • Some long operational pages may require further simplification.
  • Third-party pages and documents linked from this site may have different accessibility standards.
  • Future maps, dashboards or live forms will require separate accessibility testing.
